Life Balance Adjustments

We understand that reaching out for care is not always just about location or availability. It is about finding a place where you feel comfortable, heard and supported.

At Life Balance Adjustments, we aim to create a calm and welcoming space where you can take a moment to slow down and explore your health in a way that feels right for you.

Our approach considers how different aspects of your health and lifestyle may interact. You can explore this further here: Whole-Person Approach

Finding Us

Life Balance Adjustments is nestled in the quieter pocket bordering Watsonia and Greensborough, offering a more relaxed alternative to the busier surrounding shopping areas.

We are located within the Diamond Village Shopping Centre, on the lower side of the complex, opposite a small independent supermarket.

You can enter via the arcade at the lower end of the strip of shops, where you will find the clinic just around the corner in a more peaceful, tucked-away space.

Parking Made Easy

There is ample free off-road parking available in the large car park next to the Diamond Village Shopping Centre, which can be accessed via Nepean Street or Orana Drive.

Additional parking is also available along the lower side of Kardinia Street, with a second entrance to the arcade only metres away from our clinic entrance.

Parking is generally easy to find, and many people find access simple and convenient without the stress of navigating busy multi-level car parks.

When You Arrive

If you arrive early, you are welcome to come in and make yourself comfortable.

We have a spacious welcome area where you can sit, relax or have a chat with Em at the front desk.

Whether you prefer a quiet moment to yourself or a friendly conversation, we aim to make the space feel easy and welcoming.

Toilet facilities are also available within the clinic for your convenience, particularly for those travelling from further away.

Frequently Asked Questions About Life Balance Adjustments

Frequently Asked Questions About Life Balance Adjustments

Do I need a referral?

No referral is required. You are welcome to book directly.

If your GP feels it may be appropriate, you may be eligible for a Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan (also known as a Chronic Disease Management Plan).

This may provide access to a limited number of partially Medicare-subsidised allied health visits each year (generally up to 5 in total across all providers), based on your GP’s assessment and referral.

If you have been provided with an EPC referral, please bring it with you to your appointment so that Medicare claiming can be processed on the day, with any remaining amount payable as a gap.

What do I wear?

Comfortable clothing is generally recommended so that movement and posture can be explored if needed.

As a general guide, you are not expected to remove clothing during your visit.

In some situations, if certain approaches such as cupping or dry needling are considered, access to the skin may be required. This is always discussed with you beforehand so you can make an informed decision about what feels appropriate for you.

Is parking available?

Yes, there is a large free car park at the Diamond Village Shopping Centre, where the clinic is located, along with additional parking on Kardinia Street.

What happens at the first visit?

The first visit usually involves a conversation, assessment and discussion around what may be appropriate for your situation.

In many cases, care may be offered on the same day if it is considered appropriate following your assessment.

This is always guided by your individual presentation, preferences and informed consent.

If you would like to understand this process in more detail, you can explore it further here:  What to Expect on Your First Visit

Can I arrive early?

Yes, you are welcome to arrive early and relax in our reception area. Many people enjoy taking a few quiet moments before their appointment.

Arriving a few minutes early is appreciated, as appointments are scheduled to run on time so that each person can receive the attention and time they deserve, without feeling rushed.

This helps appointments flow smoothly and allows you to make the most of your time in care.
